Proper aftercare ensures your tattoo heals beautifully and lasts a lifetime.
Leave the initial wrap on for 2–4 hours (or as instructed). Your tattoo is an open wound — protect it.
Wash with lukewarm water and fragrance-free soap 2–3 times daily. Pat dry — never rub.
Apply a thin layer of unscented lotion (Lubriderm, Aquaphor) 2–3x daily. Don't over-apply.
No pools, hot tubs, or long baths for 2–3 weeks. Showers are fine — just keep them short.
Peeling is normal. Let it happen naturally. Picking can pull ink and damage your design.
Stay out of direct sun for 3 weeks. Once healed, always apply SPF 50+ to protect your ink.
